Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

1. Journal manuscripts are the result of research, the study of critical analysis in theology, Christian Religious Education (CRE), scriptural exposition, pastoral studies in churches, Christian schools, and Christian Universities.

2. Manuscripts are written in Indonesian or English for a minimum of 5000-12000 words, registered in Microsoft Word. In 2020, the paper must be written in English with references in the latest English language.

3. The text is divided into several parts. There is a title (the title must be simple, concise, and informative with all capital letters, and the length of the title consists of a maximum of 100 characters), author, institution, and e-mail. Each section title must be written in bold. Subdivisions must be written in italics and bold.

4. Abstracts and keywords

 Each article must be accompanied by abstracts and keywords with full explanations (without pictures, tables, footnotes, and literature) not exceeding 250 words and written in one paragraph in Indonesian and English.

5. Introduction

 This paper describes the problems that occur and can be scientifically proven or investigated by methodological, hermeneutic, exegesis approaches. In this introduction, a thesis will be explained, described or examined to answer issues and issues are surrounding theology, Christian and rural education, which can be presented in an argumentative and quantitative, qualitative and other measurable data analysis.

 6. Review the theory and research results to support the thesis statement—a systematic research method to measure it, especially quantitative research. Qualitative research also requires appropriate methods to explain qualitative, interpretive, argumentative results. The writing must be supported by expert views or primary sources to support the author's argument.

 7. Conclusions are the author's research and arguments author to answer its goal.

 8. Quotes of more than four lines are typed with a single space and given a new line. Quotes consist of four lines, or less than four are written as the previous sentence's connection once using quotation marks.9. Footnotes

11. The author logs in to submit journal manuscripts through the open journal system. Authors cannot send their manuscripts to other journals as long as there is no editor’s decision.

12. The editor will decide whether the journal manuscript is accepted and revised after the reviewer process. Manuscript rejection occurs because of two things: it does not follow the journal’s focus and purpose, and it is the result of the editor’s decision after considering the review results. The editor decides on a journal manuscript through the Open Journal System. The author will receive an email from the editor through the system.

13. The author is advised to use the Mendeley or Zotero Reference as a standard for writing using Turabian footnotes. This section contains sources cited in the body of the article and does not contain sources that are not referenced in the body of the article; for this reason, it is recommended to use a Reference Management Software (RMS) application such as Mendeley, Zotero, Reffwork, Endnote or others. The writing format used is by Turabian Styles Edition format.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The articles to be submitted have not been previously published or have not been submitted to other journals for consideration. Documents submitted to our journals have not been submitted to other journals (double-publishing), or are temporarily in other journals for processing. Free of plagiarism and other forms of plagiarism. The author proves with a statement letter. Authors need to pay attention to these instructions properly.
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  5. The author is committed to not pulling manuscripts during the "Awaiting Assign" process, and especially during the "Review" process to the "Publish" process. When withdrawing the manuscript, the author can no longer submit it to this journal.
